Welcome to
Arden Forest School
Nestled in a Northern Georgia valley on cherished family land dating back to the 1700s, Arden Forest School is a hybrid learning community featuring immersive, significant time outdoors as rooted in contemporary forest school philosophy, blended with quality academic classroom time. It is named after the English wildwood that trails through Warwickshire and Worcestershire counties; a forest that once housed stories of Shakespearean magical tales.
We are situated on acres of fields, woodlands, creeks, and gardens; dedicated to providing a unique experience for children and youth in a nature-based, collaborative environment; one that supports their academic and personal growth as human beings.
“The question is not, -- how much does the youth know, when he has finished his education -- but how much does he care? And about how many orders of things does he care? In fact, how large is the room in which he finds his feet set? And, therefore, how full is the life he has before him?”
― Charlotte Mason
